Rockstar Games Increase GTA+ Subscription Price for GTA Online

The online subscription service for Rockstar Games’ GTA Online has received a price increase on both PlayStation and Xbox systems.

The service has always been a hot topic with its price, but recently the addition of classic Rockstar titles such as Red Dead Redemption, GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Chinatown Wars have almost made it worthwhile subscribing to.

That being said, the previous price of £4.99 / $5.99 / €5.99 a month is now up to £6.99 / $7.99 / €7.99. An increase of £2 per month.

Whilst it’s more a month than players are use to, the benefits of GTA+ are still really good even for the new prices. With inflation on the rise with everything including the cost of living increasing, it was only expected that the service was due a price increase, something which is becoming a common theme across many corporations.

Take-Two Interactive have their next investors call in just over a month, so they’ll likely comment on the success of GTA+ and subscription numbers increasing. With the addition to various classic titles, the service may even see a name change to Rockstar+, but there’s nothing to suggest this is due to happen.

You can subscribe to GTA+ and learn more on the official website.
