The Christmas Spirit is well and truly alive in Los Santos and Blaine County. Local Hotspots around the map are now fully decorated for the upcoming holiday season. Sudden snowfall has taken place overnight across the usually-temperate area.

LOG-IN UNLOCKS

Log in to GTA Online this week and check out the greatest gift of all … SNOW! 

Players who also log in during the festive surprise will unlock a festive care package including the brand new melee Candy Cane and a Green Reindeer Beer Hat. You will also unlock a Firework Launcher with 20 Rockets, Full Snacks and Armor. Rockstar are also gifting us, 25 Sticky Bombs and Grenades with 5 Proximity Mines and 10 Molotovs. The festive clothing and Christmas content is now live in Grand Theft Auto Online.

COLLECTABLES

Did you know? Hidden around Los Santos and Blaine County are 25 Collectable Snowmen that need to be destroyed. By destroying all 25 you will unlock the Snowman Outfit.

TIME TRIALS

HSW: North Chumash

Don’t let the views take your breath away. Even HSW drivers need to channel their road rage into a blast of profanities that would make Vinewood Blvd’s finest blush. Time trial for HSW Vehicles only. 

 

Time Trial: Casino

Start your day like a pro: play 8 hours of Casino blackjack with your remortgager and divorce attorney, then wash it all down with a time trial through North LS to a Vinewood Hills mansion you’ll never own.

NEW HOLIDAY EVENTS

We have had 2 new festive random events be added to GTA Online. The Gooch enters the game and comes and steals your cash and you have the chance to steal it back and earn a surprise gift. This requires 2 or more players in a session to be able to be activated and will happen after you have been in the session for 48 minutes. We have also seen the addition with the Weazel Plaza Shootout which is inspired by Die Hard, the controversial Christmas film, and will activate 20 minutes after being in the session plus you must be 400 metres from the Weazel Plaza building and activates between 8PM and 6AM in-game time.
