Ray Liotta – The Voice Behind GTA: Vice City’s Tommy Vercetti has Died, Aged 67
From what has come as a shock to many, today marks an incredibly sad day in both the Rockstar Games community and film industry. Ray Liotta, the fantastic actor who’s career broke out in the early 90’s with crime classic The Goodfellas following Field of Dreams, as well as voicing the iconic Tommy Vercetti from GTA: Vice City, has died aged only 67. From Deadline, it would appear that Liotta passed away peacefully during his sleep whilst in the Dominican Republic where he was shooting Dangerous Waters, the next film he was due to star in. Grand Theft Auto Online PS5/Xbox Series X|S Character Transfer Causes Major Issues (UPDATED)
Updated at 1958hrs: Following contact with Rockstar Games, they have confirmed via email and also Rockstar Support Twitter that the matter is down to a technical issue and is not a part of the character migration. In an official statement from Rockstar Support Twitter: “We’re currently working to resolve the issue with GTA Online profile migration for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S where those migrating from PS4 or Xbox One are currently blocked due to previously migrating those accounts to PC, and will update everyone once this is working as intended.” ~ Rockstar Support, via Twitter. GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Title Update 1.04 Now Available on All Platforms
Following the controversy within the Grand Theft Auto community regarding the state of all three Trilogy titles recently, Rockstar Games have finally pushed out the latest title update (1.04) for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. It appears a lot of the update is focused around the performance and stability of all three titles, despite many community members still frustrated at the numerous bugs, glitches, graphic issues and collision issues.
