Grand Theft Auto 6 Development Confirmed and is “Well Underway”

Since the launch of Grand Theft Auto V back in 2013, many fans within the community have asked where the series would head to in the next installment of the Grand Theft Auto Series. Could it be Vice City? Could it be Liberty City? Could it be a completely new location which we’ve yet to experience? Well the answer is… we still don’t know. HOWEVER, what we do finally now know is that a new Grand Theft Auto game is in fact currently in development. 

Usually this sort of information is published by eager-eyed community members, or analysists who predict upcoming releases. This time it’s come from Rockstar Games themselves. Shock, I know! 

In their latest GTA Community Update post, Rockstar Games have revealed ‘what’s next’… and well, they’ve confirmed it:

Of course all the minor details are yet to be revealed, and we’re probably a long way off seeing what the new GTA game looks like. It is however a great feeling to know that it has been confirmed to be in development, albeit we knew they wouldn’t stop at GTAV.
